My 24-year career has taken me everywhere from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to Lyric Opera of Chicago to start-ups like Spontaneous Combustion Atlanta. Most recently, I’ve spent the last few years in Abingdon, Virginia as the Executive Director of the 69-year-old Virginia Highlands Festival (attendance 150k annually), overseeing their transition from an all-volunteer organization to a paid professional staff while balancing the budget.
In my personal life, I’m a gamer and supernerd who loves good food, good wine, and therefore also exercise. I am married to an amazing guy, and we have two big, goofy dogs. I’m an eternal optimist who believes positivity will always win, and I think that from our first conversation, you’ll start to feel the tension ease and your spirits lighten, because you’ll finally be talking to someone who understands what you’re going through and who can guide you to the solution.
